The story of IMT Logistics begins with courage, vision, and a desire to do things differently. At 22, our founder took his first steps in the moving industry in Porto Alegre.
Shortly thereafter, the opportunity arose to open a franchise in Buenos Aires—and it was there, starting from scratch, that our vocation for excellent service was born. In just six months, the team already numbered 26 people and our first major clients: embassies and consulates.
Our experience in the Argentine capital, one of Latin America's main diplomatic hubs, has shaped our way of operating: cultural sensitivity, agility, discretion, and the highest standards of service.
Four years later, the next leap came: New York. In the city that sets the pace of the world, we took over the commercial management of one of the largest companies in the sector and learned to serve an extremely demanding audience, with an absolute focus on detail, active listening, and trust.
It was precisely there, amid the 2008 financial crisis, that IMT Logistics was born. Founded in Manhattan with the purpose of transforming challenges into opportunities, we grew with a clear ideal: to move the world's most valuable assets with intelligence, safety, and passion.
